The function of the diesel generator radiator fan is to increase the flow rate of the air flowing through the core of the radiator and improve the heat dissipation capacity.Radiator fans generally have the characteristics of large air volume, good cooling effect, and low noise. Different types and rated powers can be equipped with fans of different specifications.There are 2 different structures which are suction type and blowing type. You can choose one of them when ordering according to their needs.
When the diesel generator is working, it is judged whether the fan is a blowing or a suction type according to the direction of rotation and the principle that the concave arc surface of the fan blade should be the compressed air surface. For example, when you stay at the front end of the diesel engine, if the fan's compressed air surface facing you, it is a blowing type.On the contrary, when the non-pressure air surface faces you, it is a suction type. When installing the fan, do not install it backwards, otherwise the non-pressurized surface of the fan blade will become the pressurized surface, which will affect the fan's air volume and reduce the heat dissipation effect of the radiator.
Diesel generator is a kind of precision mechanical equipment. Any part needs to be intact before it can run safely and efficiently. The fan is no exception.Please pay attention to the following notes.
1、Regularly check whether the installation of the fan is firm, whether all the blades have obvious bending and deformation, if found, replace them immediately, so as to avoid the occurrence of accidents such as breaking the blades and radiator due to the deterioration of the fan's balance.
2、Regularly adjust the tightness of the triangular rubber belt. Too tight will cause excessive wear of the bearing; too loose will reduce the air volume of the fan, which will affect the heat dissipation effect of the generator.
3、Fill the straight-through pressure oil cup with proper amount of grease regularly.
