If because of environmental factors, there is no choice to use hard water irrigation for a period of time, or because the generation has been running for a period of time and the rust remover is useless, the system may be blocked by scale.
It will cause poor heat dissipation, decrease of unit power, and increase of water temperature.Itwill seriously damage the generator.
1. Drain the water from the radiator and then disconnect the pipe with engine.
2. Prepare 4% rusting removal acid solution and clean water, pour the acid solution into the water. Don't go the other way.
3. Wait a few minutes to mix, and then heat the solution to 49°C (120°F), which is the highest point and cannot be higher.
4. Slowly pour the solution through the filter cap or a branch into the pipe, and it will boil and foam. When the chemical reaction stops, fill the radiator with the hot solution.
5. Keep the solution in the radiator for a few minutes, and then put the solution back into the original container from the bottom pipe or drain.
6. Check the radiator inside. If there is still scale,increase the acid solution to 8% and then repeat the above steps.
7. After descaling, the acid should be neutralized following to the steps: fill the container with clean water, heat it to boiling point, add daily sober crystals, 500g sober with 20 liters of water (1 pound Mix 4 gallons of water), then pour this solution into the radiator, and let it flow back into the original container.
8. Rinse the radiator several times with the above steps, and finally keep it in the radiator for an hour after filling. Rinse with hot water after emptying.
9. Before reinstalling the radiator, use water that is twice the normal working pressure to test for leaks. Sometimes water leaks occur due to the removal of scale.
10. Before running again, the coolant should be added with the necessary anti-corrosion and appropriate amount of condenser.
