Radiator tubes leakage

During the diesel generator working, the water temperature inside the radiator is too high and the outside temperature is too low. Or because of the vibration of the diesel generator, it is easy to cause the radiator tubes to leak. If it leaks, can put loose tobacco into the radiator, and use the pressure of the water circulation to plug the tobacco in the leaking part for temporary use.

If the radiator tubes leakage is serious, can cut the leakage, and then apply the cotton ball to the cut radiator pipe, and then use the pliers to flatten the head of the cut radiator tubes, and then crimp it. Press tightly to stop water leakage.

Water pump leakage

When using aluminum water pumps in diesel generators, sometimes the seal is not tight.. The surface of the water seal should be ground and flat, or be turned over 180° and then installed in use. If the thrust rubber ring is damaged, swollen, deformed, lack of elasticity of the spring, or broken, it should be replaced, and remember not to crush the spring during installation.

If the water temperature of the generator is too high, it is generally due to the failure of the thermostat, which slows down the flow rate of the coolant in the large circulation, and needs to buy a new thermostat to replace it. 

Fan belt cracking

If the fan belt of the diesel generator is damaged, it should be shut down immediately for replacement. If there is no condition to update and replace at the moment, two small holes can be drilled on both ends of the fan belt, and then the broken belt can be connected with thick metal wire for emergency use. It should be noted that a proper interval should be kept between the drilled hole and the cross section to prevent the hole from being pulled apart. The metal wire joint should be left on the outside of the belt, and the belt should not be adjusted too tightly.

If the belt of the electric fan is severely damaged and cannot be connected, the rope, cloth belt, or leather belt can be tied up with iron wire to make a belt for temporary use. Pay special attention to the length and thickness should be the same as the original belt, the rope should be clamped in the center and tied.
